CRISS-CROSS
Bamboo is strong, long lasting and eco friendly. Taking advantages of its such properties and using it's stiffness to give body and structure by weaving it with fabric strips, which give it flexibility to bend and mould without breaking.
The picture below is the weaving technique used, the black strips represent the bamboo strips and the white strips are faux leather.
This jacket is an attempt of putting simple bamboo strips in a new light.
